Certificates/Documents Required

During the filling out of the application form, the applicants will be needed to provide scanned copies of the original certificates and papers that are stated below, beginning with 7(a) and continuing through 7(l). During the final appointment process, the Appointing Authority will be given the original copies of the certificates so that they may do a preliminary verification. During the process of document verification, the applicants who qualify will also be needed to present photocopies of the certificates, each of which must be self-attested, in addition to the original papers. a) A caste certificate that has been updated and issued by the appropriate authorities.

d) In the case of former members of the armed forces, papers such as an identity card and a discharge certificate, which should include information on the individual’s date of admission, date of discharge, and length of time spent serving in the armed forces. Ex-Servicemen who are going to retire within six months of the closing date of online applications are eligible to apply for the post. To do so, they must first obtain a relevant “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) from the appropriate authority. This certificate must include the date of appointment, the date of retirement, and the year of service rendered in the Defense Forces. However, in order for their claims to be taken into consideration under the Ex-Servicemen category, such applicants are required to provide the genuine discharge certificate on the day that certificates are verified. In addition, the applicant who is an ex-serviceman will be asked to provide an undertaking during document verification as and when it is necessary to state that he has not previously taken use of the benefit accorded to ex-servicemen in regard to employment (Format given in Annexure-D).

e) In the case of a sportsperson, an identity card for a sportsperson that has been issued by the Director of Sports, Sports and Youth Services Department, Government of Odisha in accordance with Resolution No.24808/Gen., dated the 18th of November 1985 of the General Administration Department, and any subsequent amendments to that resolution.

f) A certificate stating that the applicant has either passed the HSC examination with Odia as one of the subjects or, in lieu of this, a certificate stating that the applicant has passed an examination in the Odia language that is equivalent to the M.E. standard that has been recognised or conducted by the School and Mass Education Department of the Government of Odisha.

g) In order to be eligible for a weightage mark from the NCC, the applicant has to provide either the NCC B or C certificate.

h) In the event that the individual identifies as transgender, a certificate of identity issued by the District Magistrate in accordance with Rule 5 of the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Rules 2020 in conjunction with Section 6 of the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019.

On the basis of how well candidates did on the OMR-based written examination, a number of candidates equal to five times the number of category-specific vacancies that were advertised for each District / Establishment will be called to appear for the Physical Standards Measurement in order of merit, and only those candidates who qualify in the Physical Standards Measurement will be allowed to take part in the Physical Efficiency Test. The date of the Physical Standards Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test will be posted on the aforementioned websites, and applicants will be notified of the date through SMS and e-mail sent to the mobile numbers and e-mail addresses that they used to register for the exam. Both the Physical Standard Measurement and the Physical Efficiency Test are used only for the purpose of qualifying candidates and do not count toward final scores. In order to pass, the applicant has to do well on both the Physical Standard Test and the Physical Efficiency Test, both of which are described in more detail below. If you fail at any of the stages, you will be eliminated from the competition.

STIPEND & REMUNERATION

In accordance with the regulations set out by the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), the individual who is chosen for the position of Apprentice Development Officer will receive a stipend equal to a predetermined sum of money each month during the apprenticeship period. A stipend equal to the minimum of the basic pay and the dearness allowance thereon on the scale of pay applicable to Development Officers as on the date of commencement of the apprenticeship will be paid to Apprentice Development Officers who are not from the LIC Employee Category. This stipend will be paid to Apprentice Development Officers who are not from the LIC Employee Category. The applicant who wishes to claim an age reduction under this category is required to provide the requested certificate, which must be in the form and issued by the authority specified in the OM that serves as reference. (As shown in the annexure that may be seen at the bottom of the more full advertising)
  • Age relaxation of 10 years in upper age limit is permitted for PwD candidates, but only for the job of MTS (Gen), and only if the maximum age of the applicant on the important date does not exceed 56 years.
  • If a person with a disability works for the Central Government and is eligible for an age concession because of that, then the concession will be granted to that person either in their capacity as a person with a disability or in their capacity as a Central Government employee, whichever provides the greater benefit to that person.

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION

Tier-I* (Common for SA/Exe & MTS/Gen) For 1 Hrs/100 Marks Online Exam of Objective type MCQs, divided into 5 parts containing 20 questions of 1 mark each on: a) General Awareness b) Quantitative Aptitude c) Numerical/Analytical/Logical ability& Reasoning d) English Language & e) General Studies [Negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer.] Tier-II#(Common for SA/Exe & MTS/Gen) For 1 Hrs/40 Marks Offline Exam of Descriptive type a) Translation of a passage of 500 words from local language/dialect to English and vice versa. Part of Tier-II (for SA/Exe only) b) Spoken ability {to be assessed at the time of Tier-III exam (Interview/ Personality test)} For 10 Marks Tier-III (for SA/Exe only) Interview/Personality test For 50 Marks * The qualifying scores for the Tier I test will be: UR–35, OBC–34, SC/ST–33, and EWS–35 (all Exservicemen will be treated in their own category, which may be UR, OBC, SC/ST, or EWS). The exam will consist of 100 questions. # The purpose of the Tier-II test is to qualify candidates. When it comes to Tier-II, the minimum qualifying score is 16 out of 40 for MTS/Gen and 20 out of 50 for SA/Exe.

HOW TO APPLY

a) Applications must be submitted only via the ONLINE registration process, which may be completed by visiting the websites www.mha.gov.in or www.ncs.gov.in. The submission of applications by any other means will NOT be tolerated under any circumstance. b) The online application of Security Assistant / Executive Result 2023 site will be available from January 28th through February 17th, 2023. (till 2359 hours). There will be no acceptance of registrations received before the 28.1.2023 or after the 17.2.2023.
